It is mindfully raining outside, has been most of the day. Raining with purposeful intent, stopping purposefully, then raining in a purposeful, mindful way.

I'm a little mixed. Lately I've been working with my headphones on but with no music playing and I've been fairly productive. I need to be creative today and I feel like I need some music to pull it off. I picked this up because it seemed about right for what I'm working on.

I really shouldn't be purchasing so much music. For some reason ever since I've been out here I've been completely honest about music and movie downloads. Not sure why that is. It's funny because I'm sure La both loves and hates my newly found honesty in this respect.

And, ok, I'm going to say it aloud now, the new Orb album isn't all that great. It pains me to say it but Baghdad Batteries doesn't even hold a candle to Cydonia. I'm not drawn to it in any way. I can't think of anything memorable about it whatsoever. Can't name a single song off it. Cydonia had A Mile Long Lump of Lard at least. Gah.

This Anjunabeats Volume 7 has some melodies about it that hint at old Cygnus X, which makes me wish I had access to all my music while here at work. Which makes me want a mac mini. I've been wanting one for ages but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
