It's kind of neat I guess. I like that I can post from my iphone super easily, just fire off an email. I didn't like the wordpress app for the iphone as it took a ton of clicks for a single post.

The only drag is I have to unlock the iphone, find the camera, take the picture, find the picture, hit the little option button thing, hit email, and THEN I can do a photo post. I recall that it was far simpler to do this on my old blackberry pearl. So round about and clunky.

I simply cannot revive my old wordpress. I tried a bunch of different options but I haven't had any luck. I tried exporting then importing my old database into a new install, didn't work. Tried importing the tables, no luck. Tried a new install and pointing it at the old database, no luck. It's just frigging dead.

I still have a fair number of posts over at vox but they still don't have an export. It's pretty clear they don't want folks exporting and they want to hang on to your content forever. Which is nice I guess because my stuff will hang there forever but It bugs me that I can't consolidate it all in one place. One novel aspect of Posterous is I understand that this thing is running in a cloud...The RackspaceCloud to be exact. Which'll be all good until the frigging cloud evaporates or blows away with all my stuff. All my shizz.
